JUSTIN BIEBER has revealed the job he really wants - the lead role in a remake of classic 1978 film Grease.
The titan teen is keen for a film company to revive the 1950s throwback musical with him as Danny, made famous by JOHN TRAVOLTA in the movie.

He said: "It would be a lot of fun. It's been talked about a lot over the years but it would be awesome to play Danny."

And he knows just who he'd pick as his leading lady Sandy in the love story set in US school Rydell High, run by the harassed Principal McGee.

He said: "I would go for MILEY CYRUS without hesitation. She can sing, dance and act."

He added: "I'd want some great people to star in it. Wouldn't SUSAN BOYLE make an amazing Principal McGee? We'd just need to write it into the script that she broke into song.

"I am obsessed with Susan. When I look at her original audition it makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would love to include CHERYL COLE as well. She would look great in the Rydell High cheerleading uniform."

But one person who may not be interested in a revival is SuBo's mentor SIMON COWELL. He produced ITV1 reality contest Grease Is The Word three years ago and it flopped.

Even so, Justin - who last night pulled out of a gig at the New York State Fair in Syracuse because of illness - would need to tap him up for his version if he wants SuBo on board.

For now Bieber fans can look forward to his debut movie - a 3D biopic of his life - due in February.

With Summer Nights drifting away it's something to look forward to.

Danny should be play by a man not a baby. Justin is too young for that role so is Miley!!!!!!!

Noooooooooooooooooo! Grease is my all time favourite movie musical and it should never be remade under any circumstances and if it was to be done Justin is not the boy for the part. Zac Efron would make a good danny though.

No, they would be the right age, they would be playing HIGH SCHOOL students. I think you are sayiong they are too young because you have actors in their 20s, trying to play the roles in the original.

What? A re-make of Grease?....... Whoever thought that idea up needs a new career!

Some things need to be left untouched ... And Grease is one of them!

Next they'll re-make Saturday Night Fever and Star Wars ..... LET IT GO ... Use your brains and focus onsomething NEW!

well if they do remake it I honestly hope that Justin and Miley DO NOT get the main character parts, it will just not work at all. The problem is we will always compare with the original, sorry grease shouldnt be remade. Never be another John Travolta or anyone who can compare. Especially not this runty irritating boy.

cyrus has the most annoying voice and accent i have ever heard in my life and the pair of them are just downright annoying in general however if this film was made it wold only be to make money, their not actors.. its certainly one i will avoid
